What are
emulators?
|
|
Emulators in general are programs
which allow you to run software originally designed for one system on a
different system. They do this by emulating the hardware in the original system.
In terms of gaming, you can play SNES games on a PC or even Mega Drive games on
a PSP, all with the use of emulators. |

from the original cartridge or cassette. Any game taken from a CD or DVD is
usually called an ISO. |

How big are ROMs and emulators?
|
|
The sizes of the emulators are
small (normally less than 1MB) however ROM sizes can range from 4KB to 4GB.
Cassette based games are usually under 1MB, cartridge based games are rarely
over 100MB, and games on a disc really be anything from 10MB to 700MB. |

Where can I find ROMs for PS3, XBOX360 and Wii? |
|
You won't any files like that here, it is
our policy to only supply games for obsolete systems (this keeps us on the good
side of the DMCA). Plus any kind of emulation of these systems is a very very
long way away. With powerful systems like these why not just buy the real thing? |
